Alkem Laboratories Ltd is the Indian Institute of Medicine located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Mr. Established in 1973 by Sampradha Singh, the company sells and sells branded generic, generic medicines, active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and pharmaceuticals in India and internationally in 55 countries (mainly US) Australia, Europe, Southeast Asia, Latin America, Africa and CIS.
The company has a wide presence in acute and long-term therapeutic departments such as Anti-Infectious, Gastro-Intestinal, Pain Management, Vitamin, Mineral and Nutrition, Central Nervous System, Anti-Diabetic, Anti-Osteoporosis, Anti-Malaria, Cardiovascular. , Immunosuppressants and Pharmaceutical Segements.and And a strong pan-India sales and distribution network, we have been ranked among the top ten pharmaceutical companies in India for the past 13 years. For the last 10 years, we have been ranked as one of the number one anti-infected companies in India and include leading pharmaceutical companies in gastro-intestines, pain management and therapeutic segments of vitamin / minerals / nutrients. We are currently the fifth largest pharmaceutical company in India in terms of domestic sales of 2016 with our reputed brands such as Quamm, Pan, Pan-D, Taxim and Taxim-O, which are featured in the Top 50 Pharmaceutical brands.
Apart from having a strong foothold in the domestic market, we have presence in more than 50 international markets since the US is the global market as the main center. Our international business contributed about 27% of our gross revenue in 2016 in fiscal year and is one of the key drivers for the company.
We have a total of 16 construction facilities, including 14 in India and 2 in the United States. Our production facilities are checked and checked according to CGMM guidelines prepared by major regulatory authorities, including the US FDA, World Health Organization (WHO), MHRA (UK), TGA (Australia), Antivia (Brazil) and MCC (South Africa). .
On December 23, 2015, we successfully completed our Inclusive Public Offer (IPO) with our equity shares listed on Bombay Stock Exchange Limited and National Stock Exchange of India Limited.
Manufacturing facilities:-
We own and operate 14 production facilities in five locations in India and two manufacturing facilities in the United States. In order to meet our domestic and international markets, we have automatically taken and operated API formulation and API manufacturing facilities based on WHO CGMP guidelines. Each of our manufacturing facilities has independent quality control units to monitor the quality of the products of our products. Out of 14 features, our facility at Ankleshwar and Mandwa is API creation facility. Daman, Baddi and Sikkim are the rest of the facilities.
Our production facilities are checked and checked according to CGMM guidelines prepared by major regulatory authorities, including the US FDA, World Health Organization (WHO), MHRA (UK), TGA (Australia), Antivia (Brazil) and MCC (South Africa).
Quality Control:-
In accordance with our quality policy, we have established quality work in the organization to ensure continuous inspection of quality operations across the country and export markets to assure the quality, security and efficiency of our products. Our Quality Management System (QMS) adheres to a variety of international regulatory and CGMP standards, and we routinely review systems, practices and documentation in our production facilities through audit.
All products are subject to the Comprehensive Stability Test Program to understand actual production behavior during Shelf Life. We also monitor the quality of in-market product by the annual production quality review system.
We believe that all our manufacturing facilities have enough pollution process and reduce the contamination of the surrounding environment or pollution. All these environmental protection systems have been set in accordance with the statutory requirements of applicable laws and environmental policies.
